I’m excited to share my The Good and The Beautiful reviews today of level 4 Language Arts.

This english incorporates so many different aspects of language arts such as reading, grammar, spelling, vocab, and handwriting.

I personally love programs that are fairly self sufficient, meaning the students can take the lead and complete the lesson themselves.

It helps to teach personal responsibility and following directions, plus it’s easier for mom.

Level 4 doesn’t mean grade 4 with The Good and The Beautiful so you will need to look at samples to see what would be a good fit for your child.

Let’s take a look at The Good and The Beautiful Level 4.

The Good and The Beautiful Reviews Level 4

Level 4 is the first level where the children use the lessons independently.

The previous levels are parent taught.

Each lesson is clearly laid out in the course book.

The lessons contain a little bit of grammar, spelling, reading, writing, and vocab each day in small managable sections.

There is also a Creative Companion lesson for each day where geography and art alternate every other day.

I love how geography and art are included in these language arts lessons because I think they are forgotten by most homeschool families.

The Creative Companion lessons can also be followed independently by the student with little supervision from a parent.

The Good and The Beautiful comes with flash cards of grammar concepts and geography locations for the students to practice with daily.

This helps reenforce these concepts to memory.

The first 5 levels of their language arts is available for download for free but I decided to purchase the books because it was very economical.

If you own a printer and a spiral binder it may be cheaper to print.

Who is The Good and The Beautiful a good fit for?

Level 4 is great for students who want to work independently and just be supervised.

It’s full of wholesome stories and art activities my kids loved.

This curriculum really makes art doable instead of something that gets shoved aside everyday.

The curriculum is published by a Mormon family but I personally didn’t find any hints of their beliefs inside the content.

It is conservative in nature and does refer to the bible but it is general and free from certain theological references.

Overall I’m really pleased with how level 4 of The Good and The Beautiful comes together for my kids.

Let’s fill the comments up with The Good and The Beautiful reviews for others who are thinking of using it for their family.

Thanks for sharing!

We love The Good and the Beautiful language arts! My 4 girls used to complain about their LA books in the past, but now never complain with this curriculum. One of the reasons they love it is because art is incorporated into it, and they’re all art obsessed.
They’re also excited to use TGTB’s new math curriculum that will be out later this summer!
