Dive Science by Dr. Shormann

Dive Science is an excellent option for high school students who want a strong science curriculum that’s well organized.

The curriculum ranges from upper middle school to high school Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

This curriculum can be done fully online with a notebook.

Daily lessons are laid out with interactive flashcards, and online textbook reading but mainly the lectures by Dr. Shormann are the meat of the curriculum.

There are quizzes and tests that are done and graded online on the platform.

Dive Science offers a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. There are also Live classes with Dr. Shormann if you wanted to add that on but it’s optional. It also provides hands-on experiments to reinforce understanding and facilitate the practical application of concepts.

Overall Dive Science offers a strong science curriculum for high school students who are thinking of a future science/health-related career.

This is a Christian curriculum but it’s not heavily filled with scripture.

For Christian parents seeking a homeschool curriculum that integrates their biblical worldview with scientific education, Science Shepherd is a great choice.

It includes textbooks, online courses, and a science lab kit for hands-on experiments.

Science Shepherd prepares students for college prep science and equips them with a solid understanding of life science.

It was created by a homeschooled family and written by Dr. Scott Hardin. It’s geared for independent study by your students.

Although you can use a PDF textbook or physical book, most of the course is lecture-based through videos. Tests are printed out and parent graded.

Study.com stands out for its flexibility and accessibility. It’s easy for your student to log on and complete their lesson and convenient for a parent to get in the dashboard to check scores.

Students can access the course materials anytime, anywhere, making it convenient for homeschooling families.

The self-paced nature of the curriculum allows students to learn at their own speed and revisit topics as needed.
